Liz Callaway - Tribute To Broadway
LIZ CALLAWAY has been in demand, On and Off-Broadway, since her debut in Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along. Liz has since garnered acclaim for her work in the musicals The Three Musketeers, Miss Saigon (originating the role of Ellen), as Grizabella in CATS and won a Tony Award for her role in Baby. On the silver screen, Liz performed the singing voice of the title character in the animated feature Anastasia, and her song “Journey to the Past”, (nominated for a 1998 Academy Award) was skated to by Tara Lipinski during the 1998 Winter Olympics. Liz is also the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in Disney’s The Return of Jafar, and Aladdin And The King Of Thieves. Other film work includes the singing voice of the title character in The Swan Princess, Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, Beauty And The Beast, and The Brave Little Toaster Goes To Mars.
Liz easily brings the full breadth and excitement of Broadway to the Pops stage. Her repertoire encompasses a broad spectrum of both modern and classic Broadway hits.
