  • Liz Callaway - The Beat Goes On

Tony Nominee LIZ CALLAWAY ignites the stage with an evening of her favorite songs from the 1960's called THE BEAT GOES ON.  Listeners can look forward to hearing the music of Jimmy Webb, Burt Bacharach & Hal David, Brian Wilson, and hit songs such as "Feelin Groovy," "Leavin on a Jet Plane," "MacArthur Park," "Moon River," and "Downtown."

Award-winning actress, singer and recording artist Liz Callaway made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim’s "Merrily We Roll Along."  She received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in "Baby", and for five years, sang "Memory" as Grizabella in "Cats." She has also starred in the original casts of "Miss Saigon," "The Three Musketeers," and "The Look of Love."

Liz has added THE BEAT GOES ON to her Pops offerings. This acclaimed Sixties themed program had PLAYBILL gushing, “[Liz is] one of the finest vocalists around...her rendition of 'Where Have All The Flowers Gone?’ is perhaps the most moving one you’ll encounter.”
